The review also included a comprehensive psychological assessment, family therapy assessment and a psychiatric diagnose interview.
According to the report the report states that Miss Kelly was afflicted by multiple mental health issues, including borderline personality disorder, bulimia nervosa, and anorexia nervosa. She had also been abused by her husband and was an addict to drugs. Depression, anxiety, and stress made her suffer more. She was also diagnosed with bipolar affective disorder and schizophrenia-related disorder.
Elayaperumal claims Medtronic has discriminated against him because of his race or nationality. He claims that his poor performance review in June of 2000 as well as the decision not to give him certain projects assignments were motivated by racism. Medtronic has not provided evidence that its decisions were based on these elements. Furthermore, Elayaperumal's less-than-perfect performance review did not result in a reduction in his pay, benefits, or duties.
